First lost tooth pictures
Maegan lost her first tooth on Saturday (August 1st). It had been loose for a couple of weeks and finally got to the point where I could pull it. She was very brave and excited about the dollar from the tooth fairy. Here are some pictures:

New Cousin
Maegan's new cousin, Nathan, is staying at our house while his mom, Nicky, goes back to work. Maegan is a great helper and really wanted to hold Nathan to give him his bottle. She also loves to talk to him and show him her toys.Maegan has been working on her reading skills. She can read the first few stories from her Dick and Jane book and loves it!

Catch-Up Pictures
Maegan was very photogenic the day we took Christmas pictures, and I couldn't decide which of these I liked best, so I am posting four: 
Maegan was one of the sheep at the stable in our church's Christmas program. She shed some wool on stage, but it otherwise went very well. She is saying her line ("Baa!") in this picture.
Maegan was excited to meet Santa this year.
Maegan's favorite gift this year was her Barbie laptop. Her counting skills have really improved because of it.
She also loved her gigantic Disney Princess coloring book, especially the watercolor part.
Maegan still loves to dress up.
Like her mom, Maegan doesn't like to go to bed, and doesn't always like to get up. Bunny is still her close friend. His tag came off recently and I had to sew on what is left of it. In the picture, the hand you can see is rubbing the tag. She struggles with wanting to stop sucking her thumb, but not really wanting to stop.
All bundled up.
